Click “Start”. (And make sure that your Samsung has over 20% battery power left before you do this.)

Tick the data types that you want. There are “Contacts”, “Messaging”, “WhatsApp messages & attachments”, “Gallery”, “Audio”, “Videos” and “Documents.” We select “Gallery” and “WhatsApp messages & attachments”. Then, click “Next”.

You are able to choose scanning the deleted files only or all the files. “Scan for deleted files” is more time-saving. “Next” would be your choice to continue the process.

Turn to your Galaxy phone and tap “Allow” on the screen. Choose to remember the answer on the Android device, or you have to keep tapping the button until it does not show up again. After that, the scanning process will start.
